Thanksgiving
I always love the Thanksgiving long weekend. For me, it's a time to reflect on the things most important in my life. This last year has been all about change for Shane & I, and we feel so blessed by the support our family & friends have shown us...we love you all.
This year, we enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with Mom, Geoff, Sheryl, Rick, and Elijah. The turkey & veggies were delicious (thanks Mom!), and I ate too much, which seems to be a common malady over any holiday. We topped off our dinner with an equally yummy pumpkin pie, courtesy of Sheryl. While the guys watched a Canucks game, I had fun watching Ben & Eli interact...I wish I had brought my camera. The only downside to our Thanksgiving get-together was the absence of the Millars, and Kelowna Weckstroms. It will be nice to have everyone together for Christmas.
I think this is the first year that I didn't get to spend any part of Thanksgiving with my side of the family. My Mom & Ian were away in Edmonton (they got back late last night), and my Dad & Brad went to Vancouver Island (they also got back late last night). I'm sure we'll make up for it at another time though!
Now that Thanksgiving is over, it's time to countdown for Christmas: only 76 days left!

Sorry we couldn't be there - but we will see you at Christmas!
It'll be so nice to see you both again...can't wait! Only 68 more sleeps!
